ABOUT ROB
On the Bar Since 2007
I’m Rob, a coffee enthusiast who’s brewed, tinkered, and tested my way through countless cups of drip coffee, cold brew, and espresso. From a Starbucks in Chicago (RIP Wil-Mag) to Young Hickory and then my own coffee truck and espresso cart, Coliseum Coffee Works, I have worked in coffee for a long time, honing my skills along the way.
I have always enjoyed teaching others and helping them make the coffee drinks they enjoy the most. Whether it’s gear reviews, recipes, or just general opinions and wisdom, I created Rob’s Coffee Guide to serve you.
Trust and Revenue - They Can Co-Exist
When you explore my articles, watch my videos and click on product links, I may earn ad revenue or affiliate commission on some of the products I recommend. However, this does not influence my editorial choices or recommendations. I am committed to providing honest, thorough, and independent reviews that prioritize my readers' interests — wherever they are in their coffee journey.
While brands or PR agencies may send me products for review, I also offer detailed paid posts about specific products. These posts are always clearly marked. Whether a post is paid or unpaid, my commitment to providing honest, unbiased feedback remains unchanged.
If a product doesn't meet my standards or fails to impress, I will not hesitate to share my genuine critique – regardless of its source or whether it's a paid partnership.
